Baby Float Massage
Please be aware, that we no longer offer the Baby Float Massage, however, we do offer Baby Massage that can help with many ailments such as insomnia and digestive issues.
We are now offering Float Baby Massage, a water and massage therapy for infants. A visit consists of two components: hydrotherapy, with the babies floating in a little pool for about 20 minutes while wearing special doughnut-shaped flotation devices around their necks to keep their heads above water, after the baby is dried off and receives the 25-minute baby massage, performed by certified massage therapist of infant massage. The flotation device, allows baby to move their arms and legs freely while floating independently. Research suggests water therapy improves babies’ physical strength and discipline.
“What we find is that the babies find the water very soothing and relaxing,” Jeanie Fabre Spa Director at Suddenly Slimmer Med Spa said. Babies take to the water quickly because of their recent time in the womb, Jeanie said. “Before they can roll over, they want to move and they’re not able to — they’re either in a carrier or being held — and so when we put them in the water and they experience that freedom, they really enjoy it.”
