Q. After a night of cocktails and salty appetizers, the skin under my eyes and my face looks so puffy. What Can I do?
A. Glass for glass, match your alcohol consumption with water (You’re at a holiday party, not a kegger in college). Before bed, take a B complex vitamin supplement; it stimulates the lymphatic systems to remove waste from skin cells, which helps to decrease puffiness the next day. In the morning drink a shot of liquid chlorophyll (find it at health food stores) to stimulate your lymphatic system and oxygenate your skin so you get a healthy glow. Another way to de-puff is to do a quick lymphatic drainage massage as you put on your moisturizer. Start Between your brows and make gentle circles with your fingertips, moving across your eyebrows towards your temples, then underneath the eyes and across the cheekbones. Then go along the jawline to the lobes of the ear, and circle down the sides to your neck- always moving outwards to the sides of the face.
